Vince Zampella, Has Died in a California Car Crash
The visionary game developer, the mind behind the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in the state of California aged 55.
His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio which he helped establish.
The celebrated game designer died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and burst into flames on a motorway in LA on this past Sunday, as reported by.
"This is an unimaginable loss, and our hearts are with his family and friends, his loved ones, and everyone impacted by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts commented.
